H. E Amb Vitisia paid a courtesy call on H.E President Evariste Ndayishimiye to bid farewell at the end of his tour of duty.
H.E Amb. Ken Vitisia has conveyed a message of condolences on behalf of the Embassy, Kenyans resident in Burundi and self following the untimely demise of H.E President Pierre Nkurunziza.

The establishment of a Kenyan Resident Embassy in Bujumbura in September, 2007 marked a milestone in the historic relations between our two countries. With Burundi joining the East African Community (EAC) in July, 2007 the borders between the two countries collapsed, bringing our people even closer.
