Courtesy Meeting Between H.E. Amb. Daniel Wambura and AKB and KBBA 22nd June, 2021
On 26th June 2021, H.E. Ambassador Daniel Wambura held a courtesy meeting with the officials of the Association of Kenyans in Burundi (AKB) and Kenya Burundi Business Association (KBBA) at the Embassy.
The officials acknowledged with gratitude Ambassador’s arrival in Burundi, noting that, his presence will go a long way in consolidating the already existing good relations between Kenya and Burundi.
H.E the Ambassador thanked the officials for holding the Kenyan community together especially during this period of COVID 19 pandemic. He underscored the fact that he is committed to furthering strong ties of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Kenya and Burundi and would appreciate the support of Kenyan Diaspora in Burundi on the same.
He encouraged the officials to draw up a roadmap of the organizations’ deliverables in the next one year and have regular scheduled meetings to take stock of progress on agreed upon goals.
The meeting agreed to have a meeting of all Kenyans in Burundi in the next three months.
