H.E. Ambassador Daniel Wambura, pays a courtesy call to H.E. Prosper Bazombanza, Vice-President of the Republic Of Burundi
On 6th July, 2021, H.E. Ambassador Daniel Wambura, Kenya’s Ambassador to Burundi, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Prosper Bazombanza; Vice President of the Republic of Burundi.
The two leaders discussed a number of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. Both expressed the mutual desire for both countries to maintain the high-level momentous political goodwill to strengthen Kenya-Burundi bilateral relations, particularly following the recent successful State Visit to Kenya by President Evariste Ndayishimiye for shared prosperity of their peoples.
The Vice president expressed Burundi’s appreciation on Kenya’s solidarity during crisis period and expressed desire for enhanced engagement in various fields of cooperation. The Ambassador noted that Kenya is seized on the implementation of the deliverables agreed upon during the State Visit and counts on Burundi’s cooperation for expeditious execution of the same.
The Ambassador assured the Vice-President of his commitment to continue working with the Government of Burundi to further bilateral cooperation between Kenya and Burundi.
