Official Visit To Burundi By Hon. Adan Mohamed, Cabinet Secretary For East African Community And Regional Development From 7th To 9th July, 2021
The Cabinet Secretary for East African Community & Regional Development Mr. Adan Mohamed made an official visit to Burundi from 7th to 9th July, 2021 for a meeting with his East Africa Community counterpart in his capacity as the Chairman of EAC Council of Ministers.
The cabinet Secretary held a joint bilateral meeting with Amb. Albert Shingiro, and Amb. Ezekiel Nibigira; Ministers of Foreign Affairs & Development Cooperation, and EAC Affairs, Youth, Sports and Culture respectively in Gitega during which they discussed matters on regional cooperation.
The Cabinet Secretary also paid a courtesy call to H.E. President Evaristé Ndayishimiye, at State House, Gitega during which he conveyed. H.E President Kenyatta’s commitment to work with Burundi to strengthen bilateral cooperation as well as enhanced collaboration on regional and multilateral matters of mutual interest.
