H.E. Ambassador Daniel Wambura, Sees Off Ten Burundian Officials for Training in Kenya

On 22 October 2021, H.E. Ambassador Daniel Wambura, Kenya’s Ambassador to Burundi, saw off ten (10) Burundian officials who are proceeding to Kenya on full scholarship programmes offered by the Government of Kenya, to undertake Diploma courses in the area of Livestock Development and Management. The courses are tenable at the Animal Health & Industry Training Institute (AHITI) and the Dairy Training Institute (DTI).

The Scholarships are part of the programs under  Capacity Building  and Technical assistance for Burundians in line with the MOU between Kenya and Burundi on; Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, that was signed in Kisumu in June 2021 during the State Visit to Kenya by the President of Burundi, H.E Evaristé Ndayishimiye.
