During the 23rd COMESA Heads of State and Government Summit, H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs, visited the Kenya Chancery in Bujumbura. Dr. Mudavadi engaged with the Mission’s Home-Based Officers in a closed-door meeting, emphasizing the importance of dedicated service and commitment to advancing Kenya’s interests abroad.

In his address, Dr. Mudavadi urged the officers to diligently foster positive relations between Kenya and Burundi, underscoring that their work plays a crucial role in strengthening bilateral ties and promoting regional integration. The PCS & CS reaffirmed the Government’s support for the Mission’s efforts in driving Kenya’s diplomatic and developmental goals within the region.
