- Implementation of Kenya Foreign Policy including promotion of Multilateral relations in Burundi, with other Foreign Missions as well as Regional and International Organizations

- Promote and protect the interests of Kenya nationals in Burundi
- Coordination with the Ministry headquarters; other Missions abroad and other Government of Kenya ministries and departments
- Liaise with public and private sector institutions and other stakeholders to promote economic and commercial cooperation

We provide the following services:
- Attending to trade, investment, tourism and related services opportunities in Kenya through among others, dissemination of information, facilitation and participation in trade fairs and exhibitions;
- Assisting entrepreneurs with relevant information in respective fields and industry;
- Primary Interface and coordination with the Government of Burundi;
- Facilitation of exchange of official visits ;
- Offering Consular services including among others: facilitation in applying for certificate of good conduct; issuing of emergency travel documents; certification of
Official Kenya Government documents, and dissemination of information on Government policies - Provide protocol services and advise Government on appropriate protocol procedures and practices in Burundi
- Coordination of the preparation of Government positions in the negotiation of bilateral agreements as well as participation in diplomatic conferences
- Clear information on Kenya’s Foreign Policy
- Professional negotiations of host agreements, ensuring Kenya’s interests are protected within the law
- Active participation in Exhibition events, conferences, celebrations and collective diplomacy
